ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO RULE 210(5)(A) OF THE SGX-ST LISTING MANUAL AND APPOINTMENT OF COMPLIANCE ADVISER

 

 

Description

Pursuant to Rule 210(5)(a) of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the “SGX-ST”) Listing Manual, the Company wishes to announce that its directors, Mr Wong Lam Ping, Ms Chan Heung Ling, Mr Shi Feng, Ms Wang Cui Ping, Mr Sim Wee Leong, Dr Choo Kian Koon and Dr Zheng Haibin have been briefed by Stamford Law Corporation, the Solicitors to the Invitation, as to their roles and responsibilities as a director of a listed company in Singapore, pursuant to their appointment to the board of directors (the “Board”) of the Company. Of the rest of the Company’s directors, Mr Chan Kin Sang currently sits on the boards of several companies listed on the SGX-ST, including CHT (Holdings) Ltd., Luxking Group Holdings Limited, People’s Food Holdings Limited and Sunray Holdings Limited.  In addition, the Company has appointed Stamford Law Corporation as its Compliance Adviser pursuant to the grant of eligibility-to-list by the SGX-ST. The role of the Compliance Adviser is to advise the Board on the applicable rules and regulations for a corporation listed on the SGX-ST. This appointment will continue for a period of at least 24 months after the date of listing of the Company’s shares on the SGX-ST.
